2 months

Well, Evangeline is now 2 months old... time has flown by and she has changed so much!

We survived her 2 month appointment - she had to get 3 separate shots. She learnt very quickly that when there is something cold and wet on her leg (alcohol swab) pain would be next, so she was anticipating the last two shots... which made it harder. Our little girl doesn't cry to much, she's a pretty content baby so that day was the loudest, hardest, longest she has ever cried (and once we were home and she woke up it was even more so than at the Dr.'s office!). It was hard on me too, but with naps, baby tylenol, lots of prayers from family and Daddy, and some snuggles and songs we made it through the first day. The next day she was much better, we're glad that is over with!

She is smiling up a storm and has almost learned how to laugh. She recognizes us by sight and sound - in fact she was crying one day and I put Ryan on speakerphone and she stopped, smiled, and started looking around for him! She eats well (obviously, by her weight), sleeps well (usually 6+ hours at night but of course she didn't last night), and poops well :o) She sometimes likes "tummy time", sometimes no; she loves going over to see family but tends to get a bit overstimulated and overtired at the Tiren house :o) she still has to get used to having such a big extended family! She hasn't rolled over yet, but she is very close... any day now, I think. She likes to stand and actually supports her own weight, we just have to keep her from moving back and forth. She was dedicated at church the other week, but that is for a future post when we have the pictures!

We are just so grateful for our little girl, we love her more and more each day and can't thank God enough. She is so precious and God is so good to us.
